#What are the Golden Ridge snowballs
18 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
it’s like a snowball fight but deadly
Badeline’s just having some fun

i remember seeing something somewhere about kevin being the thrower but i can't find that now
I think it was the dev glyph playthrough
I think I heard them referenced as boulders
I wonder what they are reffered to as in code
Is there any lore or reason behind these snowballs? Or is it just that the devs enjoyed Oshiro and wanted a round 2.
Badeline is off the side of the screen throwing the snowballs
It’s like a snowball fight but deadly
basically, when it is cold, water turns into ice
then, small ice crystals can fuse together and form snow
why do they go horizontal then
wind
celeste players are in so deep theyre trying to find lore in snowballs
Snowballs only appear in 4a (Cliff Face) and 7a and b (2000m) as far as I know. It's important to note that snowballs only appear during windy rooms where the wind blows from right to left. However, this doesn't mean that every room with wind in this direction also has snowballs. For example: the wind rooms directly after the 4a snowball section have no snowballs at all despite having wind from right to left. As for 4b and c, Theo in 5b questions whether the level and (possibly) the non-a sides are canon. I believe that when the wind isn't being lessened by Madeline's presence, snow just falls of the cliffs. However, when she is present, the wind is slow enough to gather snow together into a snowball which then flies into Madeline. But only occasionally, apparently. Preface: I am not a meteorologist, and I'm not sure if this is how snow and wind works.
I don’t think the wind is realistic considering it can go from completely still to being fast enough to prevent walking
kevin regamey personally aims the snowballs at you
This is Celeste I never thought people would have snowballs as their top priority
