Will there be a continuation of the story, featuring more Madeline and Theo?

Hi Devs! First of all, thank you for making one of my favorite games of all time, and second, do you think we will have a continuation in a separate game, where we can see Madeline and Theo go one more adventures together?

they have confirmed they have no plans on celeste 2, though they are working on a new game called earthblade

Technically there is a Celeste 2. But it is just a Pico-8 game.

Also, there is kind of a continuation of the story, if you check out the instapix (instagram) account that Theo mentions. There are some posts with really nice works of art, some of which feature Madeline

Earthblade's their new game currently being worked on, but no Celeste sequels.
