Olympus blocked by Virus & Threat protection | Mt. Celeste Climbing Association | Page 1

I'm terribly sorry if this has been asked before. I searched the discord and scoured the internet but couldn't find anything on this topic...

After installing Everest, when I try to run it, my Windows Virus & Threat protection automatically blocks my action and deletes some relevant files, causing an error. Does anyone else experience this and know what is going on?

I got the following message about 3 times in my Protection History in Windows Security:

App or process blocked: Olympus.Sharp.exe

Blocked by: Attack surface reduction
Rule: Block executable files from running unless they meet a prevalence, age or trusted list criteria

Affected items: C:[...]\Celeste.exe

This is the error I get after trying to launch Everest subsequently to installing it via Olympus:
