#Add a deathless_achievements channel

my thoughts: I'd be fine with that channel being added, since with the creation of #deathless_general the deathless folks might be becoming a more distinct community, but like speedruns, deathless stuff should still be allowed in #achievements (same reasoning as #pb_posting / #achievements )
I don't use any of those channels though, so idk how much weight my opinion holds here
in this case it may also be a good idea to reform it into a forum channel, at least once the feature becomes more fleshed out. right now i think its unnecessary to split them up because it may devalue other achievements like beating a level. And like Augustus said, an achievement is an achievement, and as such it belongs in the channel designed to show off cool things you have done. some people have different skillsets than others, some people are better, but if they did something that they're proud of, they have the right to post it in a place where people can hype up things they've done.
agree with this, think it would be much more devaluing to say like “your achievement isn’t as good as x so it goes in a different channel”. #achievements is all your own personal achievements - doesn’t matter how hard it was or how long it took you, if you’re proud of it you can post it there.
as for a deathless achievements itself i’m somewhat indifferent, not sure it’s really necessary, but yeah i think deathless stuff should continue to be allowed in #achievements if/when that channel ever gets created
(which is partially why i don’t see a ton of purpose for it)
I feel like that channel would have some sort of an elitist flair to it
