cuz looking in wip theres feedback requests which is technically fine but i think if we add an announcements it should be for finished stuff early

smth to consider for #modding_showcase as an announcement channel:
people are likely to forget to publish themselves, and it's probably not ideal to publish things for others *without their approval
ye there's no downside afaik
just saying it's not like a complete replacement to the channel itself

i think if nothing else we add a little disclaimer which says "hey, posting here means any server which follows it will see your mod"

yeah,
anyone with send messages can publish their own messages, and anyone with manage messages (aka junior mod, mod, admin) can publish others messages
publishing others messages not a good idea for #modding_showcase tho 👍
