i suppose i'll just wait until another error appears
yeah okay there's like opps in my pc or something LMFAO
sorry for spam i just genuinely am not sure what to do and figured multiple logs might help
does it happen with only sj enabled
because you have like 130 mods
i coyld try just plauinn
..?
SORRY
i could just try playing with only sj next time i hop on
to test what u said
yup! LMFAO (this took like 3 minutes)
i miss celeste
LOL
Your mods are up to date right? I'm pretty sure autoupdater would detect if there was a problem with any of the audio banks or something
yeah i've been updating consistently
log does say flaglines and femtohelper are slightly out of date but both those updates have come out in the past couple days so that's probably not the issue
My advice is always to put your game folder away somewhere and reinstall but that's kinda hoping for a miracle
Enable autoupdate in everest fr
can do, will do, done even!
also updated again just now so those are updated
o7
is there something so wrong that not even a reinstall will help?
More like reinstall likely won't change anything that updating and verifying won't, in theory
mmm okie
What’s your system specs? and audio card?
where can i find specifically what you want?
i have this
hope this is what you're asking for?
and @clever pier too
I feel like this is either a niche Windows error or hardware-based

okay so a friend helped me realize my xbox controller attempting to become my audio output might have been causing issues
i disabled that from happening and no crashes after abt 20-30 minutes
still stuttering tho and may still crash
I can send in my hardware specs later today when I get to my pc. I can confirm the issue is still happening after several mod updates as it just recently deleted a good ahsg run
I do use an xbox controller but I thought I already disabled that
According to one of the everest devs the fmod error can happen whenever any asynchronous function breaks while the fmod update function is running
So its not guarenteed to be an audio issue

interesting
Any updates on this one?
What’s interesting is it’s exclusive to SJ, has only begun to occur recently, and it only happens for you two
Happened on singularity station and its b side
But I had SJ enabled
🤔
haven't been playing cuz my thumb started hurting lol
back to playing and no crashes! think disabling xbox controller as an output helped a lot xD
also i had vsync on.
i have no idea how that got turned on
unrelated to the crashes, but definitely related to the stuttering
You
What..?
xbox controller kept trying to become my audio output
it was messing with my pc in more ways than celeste
😭
No wonder fmod is having an invalid param
I was going to suggest something about your system apart from celeste causing it but I didn't know what
it wasn't giving me troubles before! i have no idea why it started trying to connect like that
these crashes AND the xbox audio thing are both new
but like, this is to say, for the time being, i think i'm set
i think leaving this thread up tho for the other person would be a good idea and i'll stick around in case anything comes up
and thanks for helping troubleshoot <3
rlly appreciate it
:D
I mean it mostly led nowhere
i appreciate it regardless tho yknow, still effort on your part as well as the others
