cant install everest

Delete the DiscordGameSDK.dll file from D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Celeste. Looks like windows isn't letting the installer do that automatically for whatever reason.

trying to delete that file tells me "The action cant be completed because the file is open in celeste.exe"

Are you trying to install everest while celeste is open? You should not do that, if celeste appears closed windows probably still thinks it is open. Restart your computer to close every running process properly.
