everest crashing as soon as i open the game

i tried reverifying game's integrity files, reinstalled everest and even uninstalled the mod (cosmic columns) yet none worked

vanilla game has quite the same problem as shown here. i do have the game bought and my steam client is always running

try turn it off if on. and then enable a mod and see if the game crashes.

Nope. The "dll is being used by an another process" errors are basically never the mod's fault.
