As the video shows, I am suffering from a serious input lag which only happens in everest.
I have tried many ways including using Input compatibility mode, changing input method‌, adding everest-env.txt, even reinstalling everest but nothing worked.

I think this could be caused by a non-english writing system input mode if you have that in your keyboard or language settings.

I think it's called IME or something like that.

I am using the english mod in chinese IME but not exactly in ENG IME

I add the ENG IME and it works
