Hello,

I've been using everest on mac for a while now, but I needed to update quite a few mods, so I did so and installed the newest everst version, 6088. After doing this, I got an error with the Everest Runtime Bootstrapper which states: "Failed to launch the application binary '/Users/sam/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/Celeste/Celeste.app/Contents/Resources/Celeste.dll':
It was not possible to find a compatible framework version."

Why is this happening? Is there a way to fix this?

If you have Everest installed, you will need to reinstall it after verifying.
