Missing file error ?

I can't install Everest (Which I had before) because of a missing file called "celeste.dll"
I can't lauch the game the normal way either.
Anyone can help me ?

But I read a bit of the GitHub and wondering if this "corified" thing is fixable ?

Can I change how the files are handled so that is doesn't happen every time I update Everest ?

update everest from olympus

To update Everest go to Olympus and click the cog on the top line, next to the Everest and Celeste buttons.
Select the version you want to install, typically this should be the latest stable, then press install.

If Everest or Lönn are currently open, close them since they open files in a way that prevents them updating.

If your Olympus does not look like this use the /updateolympus command

and if you're updating from inside celeste, do not close the black window it leaves open. it is very important and is what does the update

this is ultimately an issue in everest but nobody really has worked on fixing this

the workaround is simple and this only happens if you do something you're not supposed to (aka end the update abruptly)

are you sure you mean you updated from olympus, the launcher, and not everest, the game

Ah no you're right the update was from the game and then tried installing from Olympus
