So I use Olympus to load my mods.
The only mods I have on there is Celestenet and a skin changer mod so I can play as Theo
The other day, I opened Olympus and hit Celeste so I could play without mods to reduce lag a bit.
I started to play, and I hit pause. I tried to hit tab to hide the pause overlay, but it for some reason opened kinda like debug mode. I couldn’t escape or leave, until I teleported to a room. (And I lost my golden :( )
Even when I don’t click pause it still opened the debug mode on tab
Whenever I play with mods, it doesn’t happen. Can anyone help?

When you played on everest you opened the mod options and set debug mode to "always". Which activated debug mode on the vanilla game even when you don't play on everest.
