How to change the skin's entire outfit when it dashes ?

I know you can change the colour of the hair dash in the yaml file, but can you actually change the skin sprite when it dashes?

afaik you can't, you can only change the colors

technically you could abuse dash colorgradings to change how the skin looks but that's advanced territory

the eevee skin does that

The eevee skin is a special case and uses custom code to change the colors. I would suggest looking at the Eddiewoof skin or Spooooky's Astolfo skin.

maybe since im always working on skins that im used to seeing those two pixels as a mouth, i think when i started i took them from the panic animation

mmmm, it may be posible, but the way to implement it would render the skin incompatible with smh+

It's a lot more clear on the actual animation since you see the head move up etc. So don't worry it isn't unclear.
