Not sure this is the right place to ask about this but idk of a better place so ill ask.
I'm having a technical issue with celeste+everest where the game just randomly decides to ignore inputs. The wild part is my input overlay shows the correct inputs, but the game disagrees. Any ideas what's happening or how to fix?

watch the input display. You can see i never let go of right, but i stop moving right. Then i never let go of grab but i fall off the wall

we can only guess here unless you find a way to reproduce it consistently, so id recommend trying to reproduce it without any mods and/or in vanilla, to leave that out of the question
