I have tried the latest three stable/beta installations, and keep getting the same error.

I opened and closed Everest, and for some reason that worked??

I'm going to delete this thread in a few minutes.

a file was in use by some other process

it probably died when doing that or maybe it was everest itself we cant really know

anyhow yeah, its fixed, dw about it

#

for future times it is usually good to just reboot your pc and try again to fix this type of issues
