I'm having some trouble configuring the VivHelper "Wind Rain" styleground option, and I'm not sure where I've gone wrong. There's no visual indication of wind in the rooms where it's active, and there isn't any noise, either. The wind is active and affects the player character, but it's completely invisible. Am I just misinterpreting what Wind Rain is for, or can I fix this?
#VivHelper "Wind Rain" styleground not working properly

i'd ping viv, but she's not in this server rn, soooo probably guess or look at existing usages or something like that
Open the Loenn/effects/WindRainFG.lua plugin and change defaultValues to defaultData
She should have updated that by now, but she still hasn't
@mint sky
@honest nacelle Somehow that breaks the whole mod. I can't delete the original VivHelper.zip, and I can't load the map at all if I do.
Having the edited folder along with the zip allows me to load in, but the wind still doesn't work.
What's the error?
"Missing dependencies".
I don't think Loenn or Everest recognizes it as VivHelper anymore, which is a little baffling to me
Do you somehow have a line of VivHelper in your blacklist.txt?
No, it's got the hash in front of it, so it should be active. And the default zip works just fine.
It may be worth mentioning that I'm using a Linux system.
Okay, after some finagling, I got it working! I have no idea what fixed it but I'll take it. However, there's still no wind sound, how can I fix that?
The wind sound is tied to certain event parameters. The vanilla ambient tracks where those are implemented are event:/env/amb/04_main and event:/new_content/env/10_voidspiral
