I recently installed Windows onto a fres ssd. Upon installing everest, my antivirus flagged the program the first time I tried to launch Celeste. After restoring the flagged file and uninstalling the antivirus software, Everest refuses to install citing that the directory it's installing to is currently in use by another person even though It's not opened. Below is the corresponding log file associated with the error

first of all, why are you using the old installer

you should be using olympus

I searched for Everest. That's my bad

everest is the mod loader for celeste
olympus is the mod manager, everest installer and launcher

I'm terribly sorry for wasting your time instead of just installing Olympus

I got it working now. It seems there were residual files leftover from the first install attempt
