havent played in a hot second, and i come back to play strawberry jam and the save data is just missing, or at least, im not able to find a file with enough deaths or playtime that has strawberry jam save data - looking on my steam backups i am seeing some saves that are like x.mod-save-sbj or x.modsession-sbj but theyre scattered throughout save file slots so idk what exactlyu to do

the actual save data is in n.celeste files, where n is the save slot number from the top, counting from 0
so 0.celeste is the topmost slot

thats a redundant copy of n.celeste without vanilla iirc
this is so that when you uninstall everest, then open vanilla, read and save your save file, and reinstall everest, you don't just lose all your modded progress
