Game doesn't launch at all | Mt. Celeste Climbing Association | Page 1

Hi, I've been playing without issues for a long time and my game decided to not launch.

What I've tried :

from olympus (celeste and everest)
from steam
from documents (even as administrator)

all results were the same : steam pop up saying "lancement" (which would translate to "lauching" probably) and then the pop up disapears and nothing else.

Solution I've tried :
I moved everything in steam/steamapps/common/Celeste to another folder and delete the "Celeste" folder, then uninstalled from steam.
I reinstalled from steam and it worked.
Then I moved back everything that was in the folder, retried, and it didn't work.

try your solution again, except instead of everything in the folder, only backup the mods and saves folders

ok thx, that was what I was hoping for. I just didn't know what would contain "my progress"

your progress is all inside the Saves folder

#

you can backup the Mods folder to save time, though it's not necessary

snow jungle try your solution again, except instead of everything in the folder, only backup...

in order to keep celesteTAS, should I keep anything else than TASfiles, TASrecording and these three ?

celestetas will unzip celeste studio next time you launch
