everest crash on artix linux

it was functioning for a while but now it just gives there error hopefully attached to this post, last time there was an issue like this, it was because the device hostname was too short, unsure if this is the same issue or something different

this is the same issue, yes

we recently managed to clear the main obstacle to updating the monomod version so hopefully this should be fixed soon

do you all know how monomod checks the hostname? idk what method it uses really and if theres a way to trick it?

i think it was either artix or some other distro that set its hostname early
