Vanilla Celeste works fine and Everest worked fine 3 days ago but when i tried starting Everest today it couldn't get past the starting phase. I already tried restarting my computer, reinstalling Celeste, verifying the integrity of the game files, disabling all mods and trying out different Everest versions. I didn't change any settings nor did i download anything in those 3 days
i also went afk for about an hour and it still was "starting"
I also just noticed that Celeste is using 0% of my CPU while launching Everest

There are two types of logs; crash logs and log.txt.
Crash logs are generated when you see an "Oooops! :(" crash handler screen. They contain extra information which regular logs don't.
To access those, there's a button that says Open log file folder, which should take you to where they're stored. Make sure to grab the latest one!
For more subtle issues, non-crashing problems or other miscellaneous stuff, log.txt is checked. To find it, do the following:
log.txt inside that folder. Do not grab error_log.txt or look into the LogHistory folder as those are not the log.txt you're looking for.Your username may sometimes show up in those logs. If you're concerned about that, remember to censor it before uploading. Every text editor should have a replace function, commonly opened with Ctrl+H.

i just updated my graphic drivers and it seems to be working just fine now allthough i havent tried starting Everest with mods installed
it seems to be working with mods aswell

haha i was sure that i couldnt have been my graphic drivers because i just updated them about 4 or 5 days ago
but yeah its solved now
