Yes to both
no?
you can just copy Mods folder
from celeste's root directory
yup
steam can be a little silly but Celeste, Everest, Lönn and Olympus all run just fine
might i ask why you are switching from windows to Pop!_OS?
(me use linux too)
oh kewl
I'm really just starting to lose trust in windows due to them doing some really weird pracitces as of late (also my pc has been crashing a lot more than usual and i don't know why, i'm guessing it's windows pulling an apple and making windows 10 run worse so you're forces to move to 11)
im doing a dual boot anyways so im not losing much
random fun fact PopOS is Ubuntu based an ubuntu also sends data to third parties and stuff
switching windows to ubuntu or popos literally does not change anything about that
if thats what you mean by "weird practices"
i mean more like making it harder to not use edge and AI stuff
pop os just sounded like the easiest one to use for what i do
it is the easiest one for gaming its just people switch to it from windows because of data collection and that wouldnt make any sense
ubuntu is generally not as bloated and annoying as windows is yes
ubuntu having telemetry should not be you only reason to not use it
also afaik that was opt in anyway
wait so like you can opt out of data collection on it
some of it was not
i mean, im sure there are multiple laws that enforce it
the non-opt part was removed
i mean windows doesnt give a shit
but the fact that they tried is bad enough for me
personally
also i didnt miss anything form ubuntu on debian
eh even if they collect data it prob isn't as bad as what windows does, i can always switch to another linux disribution later
