your everest is ancient
To update Everest go to Olympus and click the cog on the top line, next to the Everest and Celeste buttons.
Select the version you want to install, typically this should be the latest stable, then press install.
If Everest or Lönn are currently open, close them since they open files in a way that prevents them updating.
If your Olympus does not look like this use the /updateolympus command
that is not latest
it is almost 1000 versions behind
everest gets updates often
But even so, the Mod should just fit the current version, right?
no
it won't
please update everest
mods also get updates and require newer versions of everest
updating is good in general
ok
that is in-game
i said to not update in-game
did you update everest like i asked you to
The update was completed just now, and then it showed that the Mod could not be updated.
separate?
Actually I understand what you mean.
What happened before was that my homebrew map would load, but the mods from other people in it were gone.😅
because your homebrew map didn't need such a high version of everest
ok
Now everything is back to normal now.
I have to test again now to see if the map editor can be used normally.
you can edit them with your text editor
open settings directory and open settings.conf in notepad or something
that is normal
I know its not a bug, but my eye
hehe
Ok everything else works fine
One more question, if I want the version(Everest and Mods) to stay as it is currently, for a long time. Just don't update it, right?
...why would you want to not update
Well Because I need bit luck to come to this website.
Included in the download from this website
It shouldn't update automatically, right? Can’t connect to the website after all?
you enabled "Auto-update mods on startup" in everest though?
I need vpn to connect. It can not connect all the time. need luck
then turn that off
ok let me see
it's in everest mod settings
press r to search mod options, then press enter to scroll through them
well, if the person is cooperative, yes
