#Decal Registry with asset packs

well i guess it's not even asset pack related, just any asset that is from another mod
thats to prevent mod conflict iirc
you can't change decal regs of vanilla or from another mod
to prevent a mod from making all decals solid or smth
yeah if you could use decal registry for a decal from an asset pack, all other mods using the decal from that asset pack would be affected
Oh right i would have thought it was just applied to the mod it was in
Could that be something linked with the map metadata like tiles, portraits etc.?
To allow this kind of thing
Also, does this mean I can apply decal registry properties to things in my asset pack and they would automatically be applied to people using them without them having to set up decal registry?
