Came back to celeste to fix a map people are playing, and for some reason my celeste.dll disappeared. each time I load up celeste after a few months, something breaks :/. Everest says It cant find celeste.exe, and after I manually select it it comes up with this error message.
Sorry if this is entirely incomprehensible, just spent all day on a mining tour in the worlds biggest zinc mine

try verifying game files and then installing everest again

uhh in that case you may have to redownload celeste?
that's basically what verifying game files does for the other platforms
just redownloads any files that are missing or are different from what they should be

no, saves are located in ./Saves/
and mods are in ./Mods/
you just should redownload somewhere, then install there everest, and move Saves and Mods folders there
