I'm a bit confused, but the gist of the problem is that it doesn't know where my Celeste file is. I've tried to un-link and re-link it, but even when I manually search for it, and click on the file, it has no idea where it is. I can't open it manually through my files, either. It says "Failed to find managed application binary (celeste file name) entity not found". Any ideas?

I was just told to try and verify the integrity of the game files on steam, but I don't have Celeste on steam so I'm a bit stumped

what version of celeste do you have?

if you have the game pass / xbox store version it won't work with everest unfortunately

I'm not sure of the version, but I bought it through itch.io as part of a bundle. It's just a standalone file.

i have seen issues where an overzealous antivirus literally just deletes the celeste.exe file

yeah that's normal for newer versions of everest

it might be celeste.dll that's missing instead

If you use the itch.io launcher I think Olympus will find it automatically

My problem still stands, there aren't any applications that can open Celeste

All of them don't know where the celeste file is

Even the exe

I don't know if you are opening Celeste.dll, because EverestCore does have two files Celeste.dll and Celeste.exe
