Cant open everest after update

i installed .NET 7.0 runtime and updated everest in game.
also trying uninstall everest and install via olimpus

same problem

this seems like some libraries got corrupted. try verifying game files and reinstalling everest

also can you check that the lib64-win-x64 folder in your celeste install contains files called discord_game_sdk.dll and lua54.dll?

can you download and unzip this program, run the file called DependenciesGui.exe, then drag the lua54.dll I mentioned above into the window? https://github.com/lucasg/Dependencies/releases/download/v1.11.1/Dependencies_x64_Release.zip

I'm wondering whether you're missing some older version of the Visual C++ Redistributable that it depends on

Could be related to some obscure group policy of something which means that it can't load dlls from that drive? idk

as a sanity test they could try copying the libs to the root directory to make sure those are actually found
