there's helper mods which introduce custom entities/mechanics for people to use in their maps (like stuff that isn't in vanilla)

the map editor is called lönn and you can install it from olympus

there's a bunch of ahorn tutorials

that's an old, obsolete map editor

the tutorials still carry over to lönn though

there's minor differences but you should be able to figure stuff out
