I have a semi-frequent issue on Everest where on death or room transition the game will freeze on the black screen indefinitely, although the music is still playing. Eventually the cursor will turn to the spinning wheel and the game will show as not responding. There's no real consistent trigger for it that I can tell, it just randomly happens every so often. I'm on a mac laptop so it's probably not great for running games, but I'm hoping that there's a solution anyways. I've included the log.txt from when this just happened. It's not a new issue with any particular version of everest either, I'd say it's been happening for at least 6 months if not since I started playing mods.

This remains non urgent I'm just sort of interested if there is an answer, but I figured I'd add a log from when it happened today in the middle of gameplay which is unusual (normally it's on the black screen on death or screen transitions). I don't know if it matters that there's so many lines that say [warn] before the actual freeze, which would have been at 20:50 I believe

I haven’t tried that, on Mac that’s just part of system updates right? I am slightly behind on updates so I’ll try that later and revive this thread if I keep having issues afterwards
