After reinstalling my OS and attempting to reinstall all Celeste modding tools (Celeste, Olympus, Everest and Loenn), I am receiving the following error on booting Loenn through Olympus

[love "boot.lua"]:276: error loading module 'nfd' from file '.\nfd.dll':
The specified module could not be found.

Traceback

[love "callbacks.lua"]:228: in function 'handler'
[C]: in function 'error'
[C]: in function 'xpcall'
[C]: in function 'xpcall'```

I have attempted multiple installations of Loenn with the same results

Notably, this error persists after reinstallation of vcredist

#

what happens if you download my nfd.dll and put it in the lönn installation folder?

crude slate
#

Testing right now; apologies for the delayed response, multitasking

Oop, my first test I completely missed the button, was waiting for a launch. Same result

crude slate
#

@tacit copper there is no rush whatsoever to respond to this, I just want to be sure you know that the ndf.dll file did not work incase you missed the last message :P

tacit copper
#

i saw it, where did you put it?

crude slate
#

I replaced the existing file in the installation location in Local Appdata

tacit copper
#

what widegladeline3

#

isn't lönn in %appdata%\Olympus\loenn

crude slate
#

C:\Users\GGPC\AppData\Local\Olympus\loenn

tacit copper
#

nevermind then

#

huh

crude slate
#

The install through Olympus, replacing every file in that location with a manual install, and this fresh ndf.dll file all came to the same result

tacit copper
#

which vcredist did you install?

crude slate
#

Is it possible that vcredist is not being utilized despite its installation?

tacit copper
#

yeah

crude slate
#

x86, matching my program files

tacit copper
#

install x64

#

here's the dependencies of nfd.dll

crude slate
#

fyi your name is in here

tacit copper
#

VCRUNTIME140.dll is the vc++ redistributable

#

ik

#

i don't care much tbh snip_embarrassed

#

i trust celestecord tbh

crude slate
#

is there any concern of incompatability if i install x64 into a system that utilizes x86? ill admit im not familiar with what the implications of the label are

tacit copper
#

can you press windows+pause/break and show the system type?

crude slate
#

whats pause/break xD

#

i dont think thats on my keyboard

tacit copper
#

the key, pause/break

#

then windows+x > system

crude slate
#

ill navigate using windows :P idk if i have that key

tacit copper
#

right click the start menu then

crude slate
#

i see it is labelled x64-based pc

tacit copper
#

substitute windows+x for right clicking the start menu

crude slate
#

should i be concerned about the x86 label?

tacit copper
#

nope

crude slate
#

oki ill install the x64 :)

#

is the x64 suffix assumed for the unlabelled program files?

tacit copper
#

yes

crude slate
#

that explains a lot LMAO

#

thankyou

#

Lonn now launches :) thankyou for your help
