don't close it
look at olympus
all of the output from that window is redirected to olympus
do not close it as your installation will fail
Then what do I do
wait till it's done
It's been like this for the past five minutes
what does olympus say
Celeste not read-writeable - waiting
don't install everest while celeste is running

it prevents the installer from actually doing its job
I'm new to downloading mod things, I've only done it for Minecraft
It seems to be working now
I exited Celeste
even in minecraft you shouldn't be installing the mod loader while the thing you're trying to install the mod loader to is still running
Yeah
The text thing just closed

This is what is says

press windows+r and type %localappdata%\Olympus
then send the log.txt and log-sharp.txt files from there
What do you mean send them?
drag and drop them here
Celeste not read-writeable - waiting

what in the world
uhhhh, restart..?
try again, maybe it's a one-off
i think it's caused by having this window open for 5 whole minutes
so yeah, close and reopen olympus and try installing everest
without celeste open
I just reopened Olympus and it says that Everest is downloaded
huh
that shouldn't be the case
it crashed while it was trying to install everest
so it can't be installed
I was able to open Celeste and it hade a mod options thing on the main screen
??????
i think i have an idea what's going on
so, it installed, but didn't tell olympus it did
and something happened on olympus's side which caused it to die
anyway, yeah, try running everest
you should see a "welcome to everest" screen
Is it the one with some options on it
yup
stuff like i want to play mods, i want to make mods, etc
if you see that, you should be good to go
so yeah, thankfully the olympus crash was a false alarm
How do I use the Lonn map editor
if you want to make a map, you'll need to follow a particular mod structure
you should end up with something like this:
