i got olympus from flathub, then i mounted my windows drive, copied my steam copy of celeste (which already had everest on it) to my linux drive. Then i used linux olympus and manually added celeste. There was a missing celeste binaries error, so i pressed the everest install button and "mini installer died a brutal death". I know these are windows binaries but how do i get it to work on linux? I did install wine but I cannot make head or tail of the man page for it

#

i found out i am just stupid - celeste on steam has a linux version of the game

Am I good to mark this as solved?

#

though

#

i have a new issue now

#

steam cloud sync error 😭

#

at some point, my celeste save on windows stopped syncing properly to steam cloud

#

the linux save now has an outdated version of main save

#

no idea why

#

so I've just turned off steam cloud entirely and I will just mount my windows drive whenever i need to sync the save

#

wondering if there's a better way though
