In some cases, Olympus fails to check for updates, meaning you'll need to perform the update yourself.
Here's the steps explaining how to do so:
- Download the latest Olympus stable build. You can find it here.
- Open the zip file you just downloaded. Go to the folder inside it, and open the
dist.zipinside.- Those are the new Olympus files.
- Press Windows+R. Type in
%appdata%\Olympusand press Enter.- If you do not have a Windows key, right click the Start logo, and click on "Run".
- Those are the old Olympus files.
- Delete all the old Olympus files, and replace them with the new Olympus files.
- Launch Olympus.
The update should now be complete. You can verify that by clicking on "Options & Updates".
thanks
didn't work
are you sure you're on the latest version?
send log.txt
additionally send log-sharp.txt
you did not, in fact, update olympus correctly
it's still reporting as Olympus version 21.01.28.11-azure-1774-2e240
(aka from 2021)
i did everything from that guide
can you show me the files in %appdata%\Olympus
what's the modified date?
basically
i know, it's because your olympus is from 2021
and it doesn't look like you did the update correctly
what did you do exactly when doing the update
because it doesn't look like you followed the steps correctly
i did exactly what was written there
did you open %localappdata%\Olympus instead of %appdata%\Olympus
i threw those files in %appdata%\Olympus so it's the same date for everything
ye ik it doesn't work
maybe reinstalling celeste, olympus and everest?
