Hello I think there might be a bug there. So i dashed diagonally into the button while it was not pressed, but it didn't work, then I dashed down on the kevin block and it looks like it made the button appear where I dashed (you can see some pixels of the button in the bottom-right corner of the kevin block) because the kevin block is now stuck (when I dash on it, it doesn't move). The second Book button remains at the same place when I leave and re-enter.
Also as you can see, the hitbox of the first book button didn't change but its sprit did change

There’s an invisible hitbox there as per the room’s troll; if there’s a way to make it go away it’s more complex than it’s worth
so yeah intentional
This map has a lot of shenanigans so I would say in general if something really weird happens in it I probably did it on purpose (not to say I’m infallible, just there’s more where this came from)
