so,i recently finished celeste and said "hey i want to speedrun" so i needed to download everest so i could install the speedrun tool. but when i was trying to install everest the installer said it had an error and told me to ask for help here. also it told me to drop my log here so uh here it is <@&673391557939953684>btw i have 32 bits pc and my celeste is not legit (i got it from internet)

you should use olympus instead of the regular everest installer if possible (can be found at:) https://everestapi.github.io/

when you tried using the olympus installer did you update olympus before trying to install

the downloadable version of olympus isn't able to install modern everest - and the download is that version because of anti-virus stuff

Ok so uh i just updates Olympus and it says My celeste version is not the newest

if you don't have 1.4 celeste then you can't really use any of the modern updaters - there's some way of finding the old ones but speedruns on those versions aren't acceptable to leaderboards anyway
