I downloaded olympus, and through it I installed everest and a few mods. It worked fine for the first time I launched the game through steam, so I played 1 session until I was tired and wanted to do something else. When I wanted to play again I pressed launch through steam, It switched the start button to stop, just like it normally does, but the game didn't open. I checked through task manager and no celeste window was open. I uninstalled everest and all the mods and it worked fine. Then I reinstalled just everest with no mods and it still won't open.

"steam says game is running but it isn't" is a thing that happens, try restarting steam
