#Opening Olympus causes forced cursor movement

Running Windows 11. Upon opening Everest my cursor is forcefully drawn to the bottom left of my screen--not the window, the whole screen. I have a touchscreen so I can still force the cursor to click but it continues even after it's closed. Any idea what might be causing this? I made this post back in June but the issue seemed to resolve itself, however it's started happening again.

Upload the log file from your Celeste install folder

#

Actually, is this for Everest or Olympus?

Olympus -- happens when I open the app from the start menu (trying to check my mods despaireline)

#

Opened task manager, killed Steam, it stopped happening.

Huh thinkeline I don't know why Olympus would be affecting the mouse at all, might be some weird edge case with love2d

...no, focusing on task manager is what's giving me free movement

#

If I focus the task manager window, I can move my cursor, if I focus anything else, it's dragged to lower left corner

#

After killing Steam, I have full control

Can you upload the Olympus logs? Does focusing any other window give the same behavior?

No, only focusing task manager, not Discord, Brave, or Spotify

I've only ever had an issue like that when a controller has connected itself in my backpack

I initially thought that was the case but my controller is laying on the table and doesn't have drift

#

Oh- hang on- it may be my controller.

#

Opened Olympus, was fine, opened Everest was fine, now getting uncontrollable menu scroll through

#

I think it's my controller. It's connected by opening steam so some random drift was kicking in I suppose? Which is weird because I never see drift anywhere else?

#

I just dced my controller and it's fine now
