I am trying to make custom tilesets, followed all the steps in the iamdadbod's tutorial and the github tutorial, but the tilesets are just purple non-erasable boxes.

surreal field
#

can you post your tileset xml

ripe lake

can you show the file path in your file browser

the dev and Everest folders need to be the last two

#

so Graphics, Atlases, Gameplay, tilesets, dev, Everest

ripe lake
#

will try

#

(also it might be a bit confusing to use dev and Everest as your folder names considering those are both words used in discussion about the mod loader already - although it's not actually an issue it's not ideal)

Ok I will try to change that ig

#

one question: in which folder should i put my foregorund tiles xml file in???

#

and in which folder should i direct it to

surreal field
#

the foreground tiles xml goes in Graphics/nickname/mapname

#

then the actual tilesets go in Graphics/Atlases/Gameplay/tilesets/nickname/mapname

#

the xml should reference nickname/mapname/filename

surreal field
#

yh

#

?

ripe lake
#

the foreground tiles go in graphics/nickname/mapname?

#

and tilesets in graphics/atlases/gameplay/tilesets/name/map??

surreal field
#

so I have 3 subfolders in this instance (collabname/nickname/mapname) but it functions the same

ripe lake
#

bruh it still doesn't work 😭

surreal field
#

have you put the xml path into your maps metadata?

ripe lake
#

yes

#

wait

#

"Graphics/dev/Everest/ForegroundTiles.xml" copy pasted it

surreal field
#

can you send your xml again

ripe lake
#

wait... i think i see the prblem :|

#

dev>everest an everest.dev right??

surreal field
#

yh

ripe lake
#
