1. are you in the folder where you extracted the zip?
2. to run files that are not in your PATH variable, you need a path (./install.sh)

there's any number of reasons everest can fail to install on a pirated version because it can be modified in any number of ways

so even if we supported piracy (which we don't), it would be very hard to figure out why it's failing
