#Using Lönn on Mac
29 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
I had this issue before a while ago, but I was told it would be fixed in the next update
can you open terminal, type love --version, and press enter?
it says "command not found"
ok, now can you try /Applications/love.app/Contents/MacOS/love --version?
"No such file or directory"
where have you installed löve?
great!
now can you right click on the application and press "show package contents"
somewhere inside that should be a "MacOS" folder; in a terminal window, type cd, then a space, then click+drag the MacOS folder onto the terminal window
then, type /Applications/love.app/Contents/MacOS/love Lönn.love
huh
this is what I input
wait sorry i gave bad instructions
ok try this:
- right click+package contents on the
Lönn.appfile (the map editor app file), and find MacOS - type into terminal
cd, then click+drag MacOS onto it, then press enter - then, do
/Applications/love.app/Contents/MacOS/love Lönn.love, and press enter
if you want you can take the Lönn.love and nfd.so files out and put them somewhere else for easy access (they have to be in the same folder, and you have to do the cd <path to folder> thing on that folder)
anyway, <@&683773388321456184> macos packaged lönn doesn't seem to work while downloaded one does
"doesn't seem to work" does not exist until I see an error log
I know the build works for some mac users because we tested it
when it closes you should be getting an error log in Library/Application Support/Lönn/run.log
I can't do anything until i see that
thanks for reminding me to fix the readme instructions though
By this Vex means “asked Samah if it loads”
