The problem i have is that whever i use my xbox one controller the A acts like a map list keybind and ingame the A is set as Jump but when i try to jump it pauses the game as well, and when i press the B button it acts like a freecam keybind, if you need video i can try to make one to show the problems

this sounds like you may be trying to use steam controller support with a non-steam version of the game, causing it to use desktop mode
if you add the game as a non-steam game within steam that shouldn't happen
in the lower left
yeah i just checked, with controller desktop config mode, the A button acts as enter while B acts as space
so i'm almost certain this is what's going on
