Is Granny related to Madeline?

Not sure if I'm asking a stupid question or something, but at the end of Farewell, in the picture with Theo's grandfather, Granny looks uncannily similar to Madeline. Is it possible they're related somehow?

The closest relation i know of is that Granny climbed the mountain on celeste classic (being the protag of said game). Nothing else really comes to mind. The appearance is likely just a coincidence.

I mean, it could be possible that Madeline was born after Granny departed for Mount Celeste.

Since Granny never returned from Mount Celeste, Maddy never met her.

i personally think that granny was the classic protagonist, and that they are not related, granny might just be an affectionate title

like calling your father's friend uncle
