It's been proven that you can still upload working mods, at least until a new update gets released. Was proven by the person who wrote that mod there, actually. It was that winter map mod that featured freezing and all that

heya. Im hosting a Server with daylie 100 players. But its really laggy. 110 Slots would result in 1k ping. Other Servers got 150 slots and a ping in range of 600 / 800. Is there something in the settings what i need to edit ?

Sub user is another login to the panel same as you would. They only have access to what you allow them to have our do. There's a bunch of tick boxes to allow deny things. Restart server, config, CMD line, etc... @merry urchin

It doesn't tell you exactly how to do it, what I would do since I don't know the specific text for hatchling, it tells you when someone is a UtahJuvS, to change them to rex you would replace Utah > RexJuvS. So for now until I can find the specific text, I would find someone on the server who's a hatchling and see what their code says instead of Juv

cause I had a horrible experience with Citadel. They scammed me and a couple friends and ran off with $45 of our money.

Citadel are no good. By their policy and sh... poor way they do things thought they would monitor PayPal claims more closely. Mine went though without response and got money back in the end

citadels customer service is aboslute fucking garbage our previous server was getting ddosed (through their ddos protection) and than the person kept our server down for 2 days. citadel would usually take around 8-12 hours for any response and basically toward the end said this guy knows what they are doing we will have to work on the server and offered half of our monthly bill as refund.

I got tcadmin to work with the isle server, well "sort of" work, it just wont populate in the in game browser for some reason, thats why i asked for a tutorial, i thought there was a step i missed , it shows up in the steam servers browser, just cant seem to find it in game

The ports are configured in the start.bat if you use it, if not there, then whatever startup script you use. Most people either use a third party host or SteamCMD

Both tcadmin and running a batch file outside tcadmin does the same same state same outcome.

I wouldn't, CPU speed is pretty low. And that hardware is also very old, like 10 years old.

I'm gonna stick with no. that CPU was released in 2006, actually. Single core performance is terrible, which The Isle relies on. THe Isle recommends 3.0 GHZ or faster.

Believe the database saves per map. So they are seperate saves and both there. Not sure someone might be able to confirm. If you still want v3 saves, rename the database folder to back up then swap the map :)

Well in the mean time. Just found out that norton security was installed when asked about other programs and looked in task manager. 🤣
Never used ini files for port allocation. Asuming you are talking of Engine.ini and setting ports, query port under [url] never used it, only ever did when battleye was a thing

Like any hardware, it will only use what is needed. However, it sounds like you're going to use a VM which really isn't recommended.

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do to really stand out compared to the other hundreds of servers that are basically the same thing. Some servers try to entice people with the "HIGH AI" tag, but its no different than any other server. To be fair and honest, unless you're a streamer/youtuber, your server probably isn't going to go anywhere. You can do injections and run events on your server and try to spread it to friends and get them to get their friends

Hi, I just installed the Isle server today with the steamcmd and the thing that is bothering me is that the server doesn't come up with a gui or a console. It just runs in the background. I was wondering if I could have some way of running the server with with a console showing an output log and I could enter commands and or just be able to shut it down without having to use task manager?

If you open the window with the Log text, CTRL-C should restart it. There is no GUI, there is no way to enter commands other than in game

Crashing servers is honestly a host issue. I've never heard of them but that doesn't mean anything. It shouldn't be caused by your INI files but if you're trying to use mods or perhaps Discord injection for a Discord bot, that may be the issue.

Ok so, the servers were fine for 12 hours. Just now our server 2 and 3 crashed, we were getting animation error reports, but now we are getting overflow errors. Any help? @regal latch

Contact your host. It's an issue on their end with the hardware. Animation error reports in the log are normal. Overflow errors are typically due to hardware. Either the hardware they're using is out of spec or it has an issue.

We have, nothing on their end. We have reinstalled the servers four times

The overflow errors are small, I got it wrong, its a callstack error. It keeps doing "Callstack-TryingToFindUnknown"

We are thinking its a player file, because it can't find anything. The only way to find it out is to wipe the player base, and we don't want to do that being a server with thousands of players. But we can't find another solution.

Then it's time for a new host because they're blowing smoke. Thebother possibility is that you have a player trying some oddball hacknor something that's crashing the server. I still think it's a host issue and they're refusing to look at it.

It gives us a sequence of codes that tells us it may be a player. But it is like over 100 steam IDs. We thought it may be a steam issue. But we have updated everything through the host, checksed all the steam stuff and nothing. Its crashed 3 times in 15mins now

Probably because it wasnt supposed to be on in the first place. They turned it off a while ago, and it got turned back on unintentionally. They're just setting it back to the way it was before, and the way it was intended to be. You should've been expecting it to happen sooner or later.

The only thing you can really do is put a post in the looking for group section of the steam forums/discussions advertising your server and keep active. Stick to what you do and you'll get people who play on the server sooner or later

@fossil atlas It's probably something along the lines of "Network Security" or something similar, but I think they're referring to it as a tab after logging into your router/modem still. Should be able to find something in there that's akin to security in general, then you just need to look around until you can see something called DMZ

I believe that you can disable it just like you can with sandbox, and pingperfect is a rpretty good server host. We use them and get excellent performance, and they have all the tools needed to run it efficiently

@brave tulip The problem that I"m seeing with that picture is you're trying to run Region2 as the map, but that map has been removed from the files for quite some time. Try changing the map to Thenyaw, V3, or the devtest map and you shouldn't get that error anymore

Fixing your start map may helping thing^
Not sure what sort of environment your server is in. Make sure ports/firewall are open top the ports. Try finding server though 'steam servers' window instead of game, just to see if it is visible at all

Also, Being using Zap-Hosting for another game similar to The Isle, quite happy with them, never was happy with PingPerfect.

The hypers in the youtuber videos were nested in by developers so the youtubers have content during the recode (if that is why you think you can get hypers somehow), they aren't available for normal players. Hypers will be playable in the future though, but right now they are unfinished and a bit unbalanced

Special characters can break the coding. To use them you need to escape the characters. example in web coding HTML & translates to &

I am hosting my own server, and there's one member who floods the server output with this whenever he joins:

He has not been kicked or banned from my server, nor is there a ban file with his ID on it. He came on tonight and was able to stay for a couple minutes, and then my server simply stopped responding. I had to CTRL+C to close it and reboot

Hey there, I have a server and was hoping someone could help me out with a couple things? Firstly, does anyone know all of the weather commands? I've discovered "rain," "sunny," and "storm" but I was wondering if there were more :3

Second, I use PingPerfect. I've messed with the AI settings but nothing ever seems to change. Plus, AI still spawns in even if I have "AI enabled" and "AI spawns" turned off. Lastly, what does "Dynamic Time of Day" do? Is there a way to make it perpetually daytime?

@ruby walrus for the admin commands, you can just type /help in chat. if you want help on a specific command then just type the command itself. aka if you want all the weather settings type /weather and it'll show you all of the possible settings

ai settings don't work for the timebeing, no matter what you set it to

and neither does the "dynamic time of day"

that's for controlling how long the night and day is

#

ex. you could make it night for 10 minutes and day for 50

#

Wait, one more thing. If I disable a dinosaur, what exactly does that mean? Say I ban RexAdultS - what would happen if a sub rex tried to grow? Also, does anyone know if it's possible to disable certain AI? I disabled BP[underscore]AIVelociraptor[underscore...etc] but I can't tell if it worked or not :\

just in general, whether it be specific or not

when you disable a dinosaur you can no longer select it

but if someone were still that dino, they'd still grow into it's adult regularly

Is there a way to do a complete server wipe of all player dinosaurs without having to go in an delete each individuals saved dinosaur? Hope that makes sense.

Anyone got any info on my issue posted earlier? I'm still having issues with this and everytime this player tries to log on he crashes my server

I am hosting my own server, and there's one member who floods the server output with this whenever he joins:

[2019.05.27-08.56.03:584][606]LogOnline: Warning: STEAM: AUTH: Was not able to kick player [Steamid] Valid world: 1.

He has not been kicked or banned from my server, nor is there a ban file with his ID on it. He came on tonight and was able to stay for a couple minutes, and then my server simply stopped responding. I had to CTRL+C to close it and reboot
