The dynamite is bigger than its default size and you slide on the pressure plate and reach more nearer which may cause this.
The more the nearer to the dynamite, the more rate of death.
Still, it sometmes happens you go through the floor.
I agree, I think when you slide, at that time you stay on the ground, and the dynamite is bigger, so due to that force you may go down. However, the thing is that you fall under the ground or the map.

So, it might happen in any game even after you have done this any number of times. See, when you stand under the vertical moving platform, you seem get into the ground when the platform hits you due to the force given by it. Similarly, the dynamite gives force all around itself which is much stronger than the bearable force of yours.

It is more that the dynamites power is so strong that it sends your through the floor. Mostly bad design from my part 😛
