Why can't I mine ores to get crushed ore anymore in the tfg 0.11.9

the whole early game has been changed

you mine the raw ores, and then you can crush them all when you get back to your base

#

instead of before, where you couldn't crush anything until steam age unless you knew about the hammer thing
