Hi everyone!
For the past 2–3 weeks, I’ve been playing with two friends on my private Minecraft server (Ryzen 3700X, 32GB RAM), and we’re looking for new people to join us!
We’re playing on this modpack and use voice chat (https://modrinth.com/plugin/simple-voice-chat/version/forge-1.20.1-2.5.36) to keep things interactive and fun. I also stream our sessions on Twitch almost every day — it’s super chill and laid-back.
We’re all over 18 and French, so if you speak French, that’s a plus! But English speakers are totally welcome too.
I’m new to this Discord, so I hope it’s okay to post this kind of announcement. If not, I kindly ask the moderators to go easy on me 😅

looking at these photos, I remember the days when I was 14-16 years kid. Me and my friends played on the minecraft 1.4.7 server with ic2, bc, forestry and lived in the same village, went to each other, helped to figure out different things, dug in the mine together. Such wonderful memories. These are probably the best memories I've had in the 10+ years I've been playing minecraft

That is a reply. Your response is exactly why your application was denied. You show a lack of maturity that we do not jive with. As adults with lives and children of our own we don't want to have to parent and inevitablely have to interact with someone unable to deal with situations in a mature manner.
Perfect example here; you didn't get what you wanted and then immediately came to the post to and air your greavance.
Find another server, it ain't that deep.

I'm a little french who would also like to play on the server but not alone. I'm good at gregtech engineering stuff and played a lot of TFC in the past. But I'm bad at building. I can play most evenings starting at 19:00 UTC+1, and plenty of time the week-ends.

Yeah, you will have to spend lots of time trying how to understand Terrafirmacraft and Gregtech (and grind ressources 🙂 )

A bunch of us are on the main continent within 1k blocks of each other. As mentioned we will be hooking a create train metwork to all of our bases for fun and to network items.
I have started a mountain village with jurjen. Jur is very knowledgeable and patient in TFG and I'm just some burnt bread playing with blocks. Your welcome to join us if your able to work well in groups 🤙

i may be interested in joining, i have been on many unfortunately short-lived tfg servers with my friends and its wild to me that this is stillactive, even after almost 2 months

If your interested by all means reach out to BigTho, I can understand being burned by past experience however thats always the risk with servers right?

You never know what the future holds but I will say this about the longevity of the server;

• big runs it on a private machine at home that is setup for 24/7 uptime (therefore there is no cost involved)
• big is personally invested in finishing the pack and seeing that we all do as well
• the pack takes a long time to complete of your not just speed running (at least 3 months)

I personally have plans on playing well into the new year because that's what it will take to be even close to done all my builds 😄

Yeah, though even as I played the early game as many times as I have, I really want to fully complete the game
I've done 6 runs from steam-MV, one from steam-HV, and one from IV-ZPM, so it would be amazing if I could finish all the ages in the correct order
Unfortunately, I'm not too good at building... most of the time I use forgematica or just don't build, i'm much better with gregtech
School just ended meaning I can be very active up till January, and I think I would be able to contribute a lot 🙂

Sounds great! Jur and I are very much in the same boat. Jur has played through 3 times and I have once. Jur is the technical person and I'm doing a lot of the building. As long as your chill and don't mind working together I think it will work out nicely and we might just finish this thang!

I do know that this pack takes a very long time to complete, but the reason I was looking for other servers is because everyone would just rush the early technology, I remember once we got to MV in just 3 days and we all got burnt out. So, it's really great that everyone takes it nice and slowlu

Though, i would be interested to know if anyone shares my time zone, normally in the rest of the servers everyone is in the States so they play at like my 6am(GMT+8) and sleep for the rest of my day lol, then I would have to slog alone which was really demotivating
