#Why do "advanced foods" give less saturation than just eating the ingredients alone

The title pretty much says it all
After coming from TFC+ and VS where they're most often a 1:1 trade that gives you convenience or a straight up upgrade giving you more nutrition than you put in

But here ? I use 2 bread and 2 pieces of rabbit meat and garlic to get 2 sandwiches that barely push me past half of the food bar

Same for soup
5 pieces of horse mest to get 3 pieces of soup that combined give only a 3rd of the food bar

Is this intended ?

the green bar does not = saturation

#

higher saturation will make it go down slower

i see
so you're trading the amount of food on the bar for how long it "stays" full

yes

it is a little confusing, but it does work!

I mostly eat sandwiches with 25% saturation and I have to eat way less often than if I was just eating bread by itself

Pretty sure the point is more nutrition.

Bro already answered the question though
It has the same amount of nutrition as they sum of all parts though
