how do i make glass?

Look up the recipe you are trying to craft in JEI and follow the steps.

Obviously the glass has to be hot in order to blow

Key differences in terrafirmagreg:

• use kaolin clay blocks instead of brass plated blocks. You dont need these to make items like bottles just the glass blocks.
• put the blowpipe in your offhand, and hold right click with an empty hand to blow
• with blowpipe in offhand, hold right click with the tool to use a tool
• I think you have to have tongs to pick the blowpipe up so have those in your offhand before swapping the blowpipe to offhand

You can press F to put an item in your offhand off the UI :D

What does it mean by "the quality of the glass bottle"

It doens't seem to have durability from what I can tell

After some testing. All other than Silica are the same.
Silica carries 500mb unlike the others which carry 400mb

for me Basin pour and Table pour doesn't seem to work, I can't make glass panes or Glass blocks. I'm doing it on Kaolin clay blocks, the glass is hot enough to work and I try to right click it into the basin or on the table and it just doesn't want to come off the blowpipe at all

figured it out. If you're testing in creative don't grab the Ceramic Blow Pipe that already has a glass batch on it. Even in creative you still have to pick the glass batch that you want to use then craft the blow pipe and that glass batch together to get it to work

If anyone else is having issues making the glass blocks, check the type of glass you are using. Only the silica glass (ie the one with white sand) works

any glass batch will make glass blocks, they just make different colors:

oivine => green
hematitic => yellow
volcanic => blue

full brass blocks also work, but they're more expensive than kaolin clay and you'd need to have gathered kaolin beforehand to make the machines to make brass blocks

Has anyone had success making reinforced glass? I have tired the bowl and using soda ash in my main hand, but no success.

1. place a bowl with right click on the ground
2. right click soda ash or saltpetre into it
3. prepare a silica glass batch on your blowpipe and heat it to bright red in the forge or crucible
4. paddle your hot glass on the blowpipe.
5. right click the bowl with the hot blowpipe in your off-hand to add soda ash.
6. right click on the kaolin block to pour the glass. if you're doing a basin pour, this will make a reinforced glass automatically.
7. if you're doing a table pour, right click the poured glass blob with the paddle to spread it.
8. wait for the glass to cool and break it with a gem saw.

I figured it out. You don't use a bowl, you have to craft it.
