#Finding Graphite

Hello people of TerraFirmaGreg,

I started the 1.20.1 modpack (3.2.2) some hours ago and my next step in progression is to make Fire Clay. I already found Kaolinite Clay and now I need to mine for Graphite. Problem in this aspect is that finding latter does not seem to be quite possible. I ran through caves, as the guide says, in Marble Stone, below y = 60 for several hours and burned through Copper Prospector's Picks but seemingly cannot find any Graphite veins. I'm in a temperate climate (-3 °C, 204,3 mm) in a Plateau, Rolling Hills and Highland biome.

Well, after giving up on that run, I generated some creative worlds and tried my luck in the suggested "Gneiss, Marble, Quartzite, and Schist rocks, in elevations below y=60". I flew in spectator mode and with a Prospector's Pick through the caves but still could not find any Graphite.

My seed is 5488815116161075103 at about -1700 y -3200.

Is there any other way to obtain Graphite Ore (Crushed Graphite Ore, as the quest book says it), does it not generate, or is something wrong with my version of this modpack?
Any answers are appreciated.

when looking for ores, refer to the modpack's official ore spreadsheet, it is linked in the "Ore generation in the TFG world" which is one of the first instantt-complete quests of the modpack (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1P3Baz4y5vgJ3XrCoNs4l3BXGPiFEPlW7i4taPEWpTB4/edit?gid=0#gid=0 that's the link). The spreadsheet has altitude and rock type info listed for most ores, including graphite. It is specified, that graphite spawns between y -64 and y 100 in gabbro rock, good luck!

Thank you very much. Now it took me roughly 1.5 hours to find some in survival. I'm not the type of player who likes to open the web browser instantly when a problem occurs, but tries to find the solution in the developers intentended way and at the end I just forgot about the spreadsheet.
Anyways as I conclude the guide "lies" in this case. Would be very nice of the developers to fix this bug.
