I've been trying to make kaolinite powder using both the campfire and the forge, neither worked. They didn't even "melt" the clay, just straight up heated it over the melting point without giving me anything

Nevermind, I restarted the game and it made it work. I'm not sure if I should report this as a bug so I'll just leave this thread up Edit: also reminded me of another thing that happened during the same session: meat also didn't cook, so I guess there is some sort of a heating system bug that I am not sure how to replicate

I might have worded it poorly, I was talking about clay not even melting, meaning that it didn't even disappear when heated up to it's melting point and beyond, I know that the chance to get powder is like 20%
